Terms of Service

This English version is provided for reference; in the event of any discrepancy, the Japanese version shall prevail.

1. Application

These Terms set out the conditions for using SOAR (the "Service", including the web version and the iOS app) provided by YugaStyle (the "Operator"). Users shall use the Service after agreeing to these Terms.

2. Registration and Accounts

The Service is offered in the following forms.

  • iOS app (Free plan): Can be used without account registration. All data is stored locally on the device.
  • Premium plan (iOS app): Account registration (email address and password) is required. You shall provide accurate information and promptly update it if it changes.
  • Web version: A Premium-only feature. It can be used by logging in with an account that has subscribed to the Premium plan (the Free plan is offered only on the iOS app; there is no free registration on the Web version).

3. Consent Regarding Password and Data Protection

The Service (Web version and iOS Premium plan) protects users' business data using end-to-end encryption. Because the encryption key is derived on the device from the user's password, no third party, including the Operator, can decrypt the business data.

Accordingly, if a user loses their password, it is technically impossible to recover the encrypted business data. Users agree to this specification and shall manage their passwords at their own responsibility. The Operator bears no responsibility for data loss arising from a lost password.

4. Prohibited Acts

The following acts are prohibited.

  • Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
  • Acts that interfere with the operation of the Service
  • Attempts to gain unauthorized access to or obtain information from other users
  • Reproducing, repurposing, or commercially using the Service without permission
  • Registering false information
  • Acquiring or using subscriptions by fraudulent means

5. Paid Plans and Payment

5.1 Payment Method (Apple App Store In-App Purchase / IAP)

Payment for the Premium plan is processed solely through Apple Inc.'s In-App Purchase (IAP) within the iOS app. Payment processing, charges, and terms of use follow Apple Inc.'s terms. The plan becomes active upon notification of purchase confirmation. The Web version is a form of use accessed by logging in with an account that has subscribed to the Premium plan; there is no standalone billing or payment on the Web version.

5.2 Automatic Renewal of Subscriptions

The Premium plan is offered as a monthly subscription. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, it is automatically renewed for the same period and automatically billed to the payment method registered with the Apple ID.

5.3 Cancellation

You can cancel at any time yourself from iOS "Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions". After cancellation, you can continue to use the Premium plan (including the Web version) until the end of the current billing period.

5.4 Refunds

Due to the nature of digital services, refunds are, in principle, not available. Refunds for In-App Purchases (IAP) are subject to Apple's refund policy and must be requested through Apple's desk (reportaproblem.apple.com).

6. Changes, Suspension, and Termination of the Service

The Operator may change the content of the Service, or suspend or terminate its provision, without prior notice to users. The Operator bears no responsibility for any damage caused to users as a result.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an as-is basis. The Operator does not warrant the completeness, accuracy, or usefulness of the Service. The Operator bears no responsibility for any damage arising from use of the Service. In particular, the Operator bears no responsibility for data loss when a user loses their password, or for failures attributable to external services (Supabase, Apple, Vercel, Google LLC, etc.).

8. Intellectual Property Rights

Copyrights, trademark rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to the Operator. The rights to data entered by a user belong to that user.

9. Changes to these Terms

The Operator may change these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms take effect when posted within the Service.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute regarding the Service shall be subject to the exclusive agreed jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the Operator's location.
